I might’ve just caught them on an off day, but the food really wasn’t great. The fries seemed cold, the bun tasted kind of stale, and overall it just wasn’t a meal I’d want to order again.

We checked out the interactive areas, they felt a little all over the place. A few things weren’t even open, and the staff seemed rushed. It wasn’t a total waste or nothing since the kids still really liked seeing the animals, but I was definitely expecting more from the visit.

We went to Racine Zoo and managed to catch a couple of the keeper talks. The staff were friendly and clearly knew the animals well, and I always like noticing little patterns in how the animals react when certain keepers show up or when food is involved. That part was fun, but a few of the talks felt like they wrapped up right when they were starting to get interesting.

I do wish the schedule had been easier to find on racinezoo.org before we went, because we were kind of piecing things together as we walked around. Overall, it wasn’t a bad visit at all, just more of an average one for us.

We were in and out in under an hour, so maybe we missed part of it or something, but it felt small. For us, it just didn’t really feel worth going out of the way for.

I left feeling disappointed with the customer service. Maybe they were having a rough day, but the way they spoke to me came across as rude, and it made the whole experience feel uncomfortable.

I went in thinking there would be more for kids based on what I saw on racinezoo.org, but the visit ended up being underwhelming. A lot of it was just walking from one area to the next, and my kids lost interest way sooner than I expected.
What bothered me most is that the website made it sound like there would be more to keep children engaged, so it definitely made me question how accurate the info is. It might be fine for a quick stop, but if you’re going mainly for kid-friendly activities, I wouldn’t really trust the online description enough to go back.

I was disappointed because the website made it seem like the seasonal stuff would be available, but when we got there, barely anything was actually open. It was confusing and kind of a letdown.

I figured being right by the lake would make the whole visit feel a bit nicer, but this was more annoying than anything. It was really windy and cold, and trying to walk around with the kids in all that just wasn’t fun. Parking was one of those things that felt like a hassle too. The views are fine and all, but that didn’t really make up for how uncomfortable the visit felt. I don’t think I’d be in a rush to go back

Finding a parking spot was way more frustrating than I expected. I feel kind of stupid for trusting that it would be easy, because it really wasn’t. It took a while and definitely made the whole experience more annoying

Overall it was easy to find our way around since the signs were helpful. We did miss one turn near the parking area, but I think it was just bad timing with traffic and trying to look around at the same time

I went to Racine Zoo last weekend, and overall it was okay day. The animals were fun to see and it was nice place to walk around for a bit.
The main thing that bothered me was the restrooms. They weren’t awful, but floor was kind of wet, one stall had no toilet paper, and sinks looked like they needed quick wipe.

It’s not the worst zoo bathroom I’ve ever used, but when you’re there with kids, that stuff matters more. I just hope they check bathroom more often during busy hours.

The zoo itself was really nice, but the gift shop felt a little underwhelming to me. Maybe I was expecting too much, I’m not sure, but the selection seemed kind of small. They did have some cute animal toys and shirts, and the prices seemed okay, I guess. I just thought there might be more local or unique items to choose from.

I really wanted to enjoy our visit, but the cleanliness was a bit disappointing today. The bathrooms didn’t feel very well kept, there was trash along some of the paths, and a few of the animal areas smelled much stronger than I expected. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because I’d feel a lot better coming back if I knew the place was being cleaned and checked more regularly.

Not gonna lie, the site is okay overall and I was able to use it, but a few areas were harder than they needed to be. Some pages felt a bit tough to read, and navigating with a keyboard wasn’t always smooth. A couple of buttons and links could also be clearer. It’s not a bad experience, it just feels like it could use some accessibility improvements to make it easier for everyone

I tried getting tickets through racinezoo.org, it was more annoying than I expected. I might be a little impatient with slow websites, but the pages took a while to load, and having to re-enter my info once really got on my nerves. The confirmation email did show up eventually, but it took long enough that I wasn’t totally sure the purchase had gone through. I like the zoo itself, so this didn’t ruin anything for me, but the online ticket process definitely needs some work

We had a good visit overall. Most of the animals were out and easy to see, though a few were hiding, which is understandable since they deserve some peace and space too. It was still a nice experience, just don’t expect every single animal to be visible the whole time.
